Kitchen Remodels
Full and partial kitchen renovations — cabinetry, counters, layout changes, and the details that make the room work.
Est. 2006 · Greater Hartford County, CT
A small Connecticut crew building kitchens, baths, and additions that hold up for decades. Thoughtful work, honest timelines, and a jobsite you'd be glad to have next to your family.
What we do
We focus on the interior work that changes daily life at home — and we do it with the same care whether it's one room or a whole floor.
Full and partial kitchen renovations — cabinetry, counters, layout changes, and the details that make the room work.
Clean, durable bath renovations with proper waterproofing done right the first time.
Adding square footage that looks like it was always part of the house — not bolted on.
Opening up floor plans, refinishing, trim, and carpentry that elevates the whole space.
Built-ins, custom trim, and millwork — the finishing touches that read as quality.
Turning underused lower levels into comfortable, code-compliant living space.
Who you're hiring
Hearth & Hammer is a small, owner-run building company serving Connecticut homeowners. We take on a limited number of projects at a time so the person who bids your job is the same person managing it.
That means clear communication, a clean jobsite, and work we're glad to put our name on. We'd rather build a reputation one careful project at a time than chase volume.

In their words
“They treated our 1920s house like it mattered. The new kitchen looks like it's always been there, and the crew cleaned up every single day.”
“We got three bids. Theirs wasn't the cheapest, but it was the clearest — and they hit the timeline they promised. No games.”
“Our bathroom had water damage from a previous contractor's shortcut. These guys fixed it right and showed us exactly what they were doing.”
“Responsive, respectful, and genuinely skilled. The built-ins are the thing everyone comments on when they visit.”
